NDIS Counselling

You have explained what you need more than once, but you still do not feel understood.

Perhaps you have worked with providers who focused on your diagnosis without getting to know you. Maybe sessions felt too clinical, moved too quickly or asked you to communicate in ways that did not work for you.

You might have supports around you and still feel overwhelmed, anxious or emotionally exhausted.

Having support on paper does not always mean you feel supported in everyday life.

Counselling that works with you

This is a space where you do not need to communicate perfectly, hide your emotions or force yourself through a process that does not suit you.

We will work together to understand what daily life feels like for you and what would help it feel more manageable.

Counselling may support you with:

  • anxiety and emotional overwhelm

  • understanding and regulating emotions

  • trauma or ongoing stress

  • confidence and self-understanding

  • relationships and communication

  • changes, routines and everyday challenges

  • building greater independence and stability

You are welcome to tell me what helps, what does not and what you need from our sessions. You know yourself best, and your voice matters throughout the process.

For Parents and Carers

You may spend much of your time organising appointments, communicating with providers and trying to keep everything steady.

You are constantly thinking ahead, noticing changes and trying to work out what your family needs, sometimes while putting your own needs aside.

You should not have to feel as though you are managing everything alone.

Where appropriate and agreed upon, I can work collaboratively with you and the participant’s support network to help create greater understanding, consistency and stability around them.

For Support Co-ordinators

You should not need to repeatedly follow up with a provider to find out whether a participant has been contacted, whether sessions are occurring or when requested documentation will be completed.

You can expect:

  • clear and responsive communication

  • consistent engagement

  • timely invoicing and documentation

  • collaborative work with the participant’s support network

  • progress reports where requested and appropriately funded

  • early communication if concerns or barriers arise
